Anna Digenio is an internationally acclaimed dramatic mezzo-soprano, voice teacher, and voice-over artist based in Los Angeles. Her performance career spans opera, symphonic, and concert repertoire, with credits including Carmen in Bizet鈥檚 Carmen, Erda in Wagner鈥檚 Das Rheingold, and appearances with Pacific Lyric Association, California Opera Association, Utah Festival Opera, and others. She has also performed as a soloist at Walt Disney Concert Hall and The Soraya.
Anna holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College and is a Doctor of Musical Arts Fellow in Voice and Opera at Claremont Graduate University. Her artistic training includes study with legendary soprano Mirella Freni, as well as Carol Neblett, Marilyn Zschau, and Claudine Carlson. Competition honors include awards from The Metropolitan Opera, Hennings-Fischer Young Artist Competition, and the Voci Verdiane Competition.
As a teacher, Anna works with singers across genres and styles, from opera and classical repertoire to musical theatre and contemporary music. Her students include professional opera singers, Broadway performers, and television actors. She is passionate about helping each singer develop healthy technique, confidence, and an authentic artistic voice.
Anna is a member of the voice faculty at 糖心logo入口, where she is excited to share her love of singing, music, and performance with the next generation of artists. When she鈥檚 not teaching or performing, Anna enjoys her work in voice-over and an eclectic mix of music, from Motown and soul to classic rock and everything in between.
