Toro Tutors Testimonials 鈥 reflections from Spring 2025 tutors: RISE Tutor: 'The most important impact of my work as a tutor in Spring 2025 has been helping students develop confidence in their academic abilities. Many started off struggling or with low confidence, but through consistent support and encouragement, they became self-motivated, independent, and engaged. Seeing students move from frustration to understanding is the most rewarding part of my job.' Lennox School District Tutor: 'The greatest impact of my work as a tutor has been helping students build confidence in reading and writing. Many started shy or unsure, especially if English wasn鈥檛 their first language. Over time, I saw progress not only academically but also in their participation and pride in their work.' REACH Tutor: 'The greatest impact of my work was helping students gain confidence in writing and communication. Many became more comfortable expressing their ideas clearly, which showed in their assignments and class discussions.'
