Annual Security Report (Clery)

The University Police prepares this report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. This report is prepared in cooperation with local law enforcement, our Student Housing Administration, and other campus units. Each entity provides updated information on their educational efforts and programs to comply with the Act.

Sexual Violence Policy

CSUDH does not discriminate on the basis of sex, gender, or sexual orientation in its education programs or activities. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and certain other federal and state laws, prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender, or sexual orientation in employment, as well as all education programs and activities operated by the university (both on and off campus), and protect all people regardless of their gender or gender identity from sex discrimination, which includes sexual harassment and sexual violence. CSU Executive Order 1095: .

As a result, CSUDH issues this statement of policy to inform the community of our comprehensive plan addressing sexual misconduct, educational programs, and procedures that address sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, whether the incident occurs on or off campus and when it is reported to a university official. In this context, CSUDH prohibits the offenses of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, and reaffirms its commitment to maintain a campus environment emphasizing the dignity and worth of all members of the university community.

The university has established a Coordinated Community Response Team. The team consists of members from Student Affairs, Human Resources, Police Services, Judicial Affairs; the Title IX Coordinator, the campus Clery Compliance Officer, Campus Housing, and the Women鈥檚 Resource Center. The team meets on an as needed basis for developing, reviewing, and revising protocols, policies, and procedures for addressing violence against men and women on campus.
