Admissions

The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership is offered by the Division of Graduate Education located in the College of Education at 糖心logo入口. The Program will admit a limited pool of educators each year who meet the academic requirements and who possess personal qualities and professional experiences that suggest a strong potential for success as doctoral candidates and as educational leaders. The program is intended to prepare individuals for executive level leadership positions. Admission will be granted on a first come, first serve, competitive basis.

All applications go through a three phase application process.

Phase 1: Complete the university application on听Cal State Apply听between October听 1st and March 1st and pay a non-refundable $70 fee. Be sure to submit all official transcripts to the University.听 Applications will not be considered complete until all transcripts have been received by the university. Priority deadline is December 1st.
Phase 2:听 Program Review will begin once all components of the application are submitted.
Phase 3:听 If applicant meets the required minimal score during the Program Review, they will be invited to attend an Interview with the ELJ Program Admissions Committee

Applicant Requirents are:

Earned Master's Degree
Cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 in upper-division/graduate study
Evidence of Leadership in the field of education
