#CaliforniansForAll College Corps
In partnership with California Volunteers and the Office of the Governor, #CaliforniansForAll College Corps brings together college students across the states to address social needs in the community while promoting academic success, professional development, leadership development, and economic well-being.Program Goals
- Goal 1: Engage college students in meaningful service opportunities that build leadership skills and civic responsibility.
- Goal 2: Help students from diverse backgrounds graduate college on time and with less debt.
- Goal 3: Support the work of community-based organizations focused on key local priorities: Early Childhood Education, K-12 Education, Food Insecurity, and Climate Action
2026-2027 CSUDH College Corps Program
The CSUDH College Corps Program brings together college students across the university to address social needs in the community while promoting academic success, professional development, leadership development, and economic well-being. Students are placed in one of four focus areas: Early Childhood Education, K-12 Education, Climate Action, and Food Insecurity. Fellows can earn up to $10,000 for completing 450 hours of service over the academic year. Faculty Mentors are an important part of the College Corps program at CSUDH and are integral to the development of cohorts that support College Corps fellows throughout the year as they work toward completing their 450 hours of service. Fellows enroll in a dedicated class in the fall based on their focus area. In the spring semester they continue to connect with their faculty mentors and fellow students as they progress through their hours.In July 2026, the program will enter its fifth program year at CSUDH. The College Corps Team members assist and support students during听recruitment, enrollment, and placement in community organizations and schools. In addition, the CSUDH College Corps program has partnered with Cerritos College to expand the opportunity to 20 Cerritos College students. Through this partnership, 20 Cerritos College students to participate in the program each year. Cerritos College students join the cohort of 80 CSUDH students,听giving them the opportunity to network with faculty, students, and staff while earning three units of credit. We aim to build a pipeline from Cerritos College to CSUDH for future generations of students. 听

How do I become eligible to join College Corps?
College Corps Members must be:
- An enrolled undergraduate student to CSUDH, taking at least 12 units per semester
- Must be in satisfactory academic standing
- Ability to commit for an entire academic year
- Be able to complete all background checks

Required qualifications:
- Must be an undergraduate student at Cerritos College, taking at least 12 units per semester
- Must be in good academic standing

- Must be able to complete cross enrollment

What is the role of a College Corps Fellow?
College Corps Fellows will have the opportunity to serve in one of the following four target areas:
- Early Childhood Education: Partner with local organizations to support the learning and development of young children.
- K-12 Education: Partner with local school districts to provide tutoring, mentoring, and coaching services to school aged students.
- Climate Action: Partner with local organizations to promote sustainability, landscaping, urban farming, energy conservation, environmental education/justice, etc.
- Food Insecurity: Partner with local organizations to provide food/nutrition support and promote awareness of food insecurity across the community.
