The Toro Learning & Testing Center has various Instructional Student Assistant Positions:
- Tutors hold drop-in group sessions that cover content & study strategies.
- Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders attend designated courses & hold group study & tutoring sessions.
- Embedded Tutors attend designated sections & tutor in class and at the center.
- Enhanced Instructional Student Assistants (EISAs) attend designated courses and provide faculty and students with support in and outside of class.
Applicants must be able to support at least one high demand course/subject as noted below in addition to specific courses. View the job application for more details per position.

Basic Requirements
- Ability to support multiple high demand courses or at least one SI, ET, or EISA designated course
- Have at least a 3.0 overall GPA or be in good academic standing
- Earned a B or higher in the courses you are interested in supporting
- Will be enrolled in at least 6 units at CSUDH if employed
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and group management skills
- Have at least 10-20 hours per week of availability during peak center hours
- Can commit to a set schedule for the semester
- Prepare to attach the following

- Unofficial transcripts that reflect B or higher grades in the courses/subjects you are interested in supporting
- Eligible for Federal Work Study funds preferred but not required
