We want to remind you of upcoming changes within Administration & Finance that will strengthen our ability to support the university鈥檚 mission and enhance our division鈥檚 customer-focused services. These changes align with our ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and support the university鈥檚 strategic priorities鈥攁ll while maintaining the integrity of the institution.

Beginning October 1, 2025, all payroll processing will transition to CSU Long Beach (CSULB) under a shared services model.

This transition is part of the CSU Chancellor鈥檚 Office initiative to foster Multi-University Collaborations and reflects our commitment to streamlining services while ensuring continuity and quality support.听

What does this mean for you?

• There will be no changes to your pay schedule, benefits, or access to services.
• The CSUDH Office of Human Resources will continue to support our Toro community.
• CSULB Payroll Services will have dedicated channels (phone, email, and Zoom) available for specific payroll inquiries; detailed information is forthcoming.
• A payroll liaison will be available on campus to assist employees and coordinate with the CSULB payroll team as needed.

Following the September 8th announcement that CSUDH will be transitioning payroll operations to CSU Long Beach effective October 1, 2025, in-person payroll-related services will remain available in Human Resources, but we want to remind you of the payroll-related self-service tools that are available.

In the MyCSUDH Portal you can:

• Report your time
• View your accrual balances
• Update your address
• View Compensation History听

In the CEC Portal you can:

• Update your withholding allowances
• Enroll and update your direct deposit
• View and download your pay stub, and view payroll deductions
• Download a copy of your W-2
