The HWRC features a variety of spaces and amenities designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of our campus community. Whether you're looking to work out, participate in a group fitness class, play a sport, study between classes, relax with friends, attend a wellness program, or simply recharge, there's a place for you at the HWRC.

The court is lined for 2 full basketball courts, 2 full volleyball courts, and 3 pickleball/badminton courts.
The Strength Lab on level 1 has 8 olympic racks (4 full and 4 half), benches, various strength machines, free weights, an assault air bike, a seated rower and a ski erg.
The level 2 main fitness floor has cardio (climbmills, treadmills, ellipticals, upright bikes, and ADA specific machines for upright bike and recumbent bike), various circuit, free weights, strength machines, benches, accessories and an active recovery section for core, stretching, and Therabody handheld massage guns and vibration rollers (available for checkout only).
The Indoor track on level 2 has 3 designated movement lanes. The lane on the outside is designated for running or passing. The inner two lanes are designated for walking or running. Please pass to the outside and watch for foot traffic crossing entrance points.
The indoor track also has 5 designated 鈥淔itness Neighborhoods.鈥 The main fitness neighborhood is on the west side of the track and has a full weight plated circuit section. Additionally, each corner of the track has mini fitness neighborhoods for a semi-private/individualized experience. We encourage you to explore the spaces and discover each corner and what is offered.
Located on level 1, the Group Fitness Studio 1 is designed for ToroGX programming and can be requested to be reserved via the Reservations/Rental process. The flooring in this space is laminate flooring. Various equipment is available for utilization but must remain in the studio. When the studio is not reserved, it is available for informal access.
Located on level 2, the Group Fitness Studio 2 is designed for ToroGX programming and can be requested to be reserved via the Reservations/Rental process. The flooring in this space is Sprung Hardwood flooring. Various equipment is available for utilization but must remain in the studio. When the studio is not reserved, it is available for informal access.
Located on level 1, the Assessment Center is available for specific programming by HWRC staff such as personal training, injury rehabilitation or athletic training. It is not open for informal access and is not a reservable space.
Complementary day use lockers are available on level 1 and level 2. Fee-based semester locker rentals are available on level 1 in the locker rooms and the adjacent locker room hallway by the gender inclusive showers.

Located on the 3rd floor, the Experiential Learning Center is the HWRC's classroom and workshop space. Equipped with sinks, a large refrigerator, nesting tables and chairs plus a 360 instructional camera integration, it is the ideal space for a wellness workshop or educational experience. This room can be reserved for wellness related events. This space is not available for informal access and is by reservation only.
Equipped with comfortable patio furniture and heat lamps for year-round enjoyment, this space is designed for informal lounging. It may also be used as a reservable evet space.

Available for free checkout for all members at our Hospitality Desk, level 1.
Large pool/shower towels will be available for a small check out service fee at the Level 1 Hospitality Desk.
For $20 per semester, members may check out up to two towels per visit. Towels must be returned by the end of the same day before facility closing. Towels not returned on time will result in a $40 replacement fee per towel, and membership access will be suspended until the fee is paid or the towel(s) are returned.
Free daily checkout at the Adventure Desk and/or 2nd Floor Staff Station:
Day use lockers are free and available on first come, first serve. All contents must be removed from Day Use lockers by the listed closing time each day. Any personal belongings found after closing in a Day Use Locker will be turned into the Lost and Found. After 15 days, all lost and found items will be disposed of and/or donated to Goodwill.
Long term locker rentals: Certain 1st floor lockers located in the locker rooms and hallway are available for semester rental for a fee. The locker user is responsible for ensuring their locker is locked and that they empty their personal belongings out by the end of the rental period. Any personal belongings found in the locker after the listed expiration date will be turned into the lost and found. After 15 days, all lost and found items will be disposed of and/or donated to Goodwill.
Lockers can be purchased in-person at the 1st floor Hospitality Desk (credit/debit cards only).
